Kathmandu to Kohalpur (Drive: 11–13 Hours | Approx. 500 KM)

Begin your scenic journey from Kathmandu with a long yet rewarding drive through Nepal’s mid-western highway. Enjoy changing landscapes, highway eateries, and local lifestyle along the route. On arrival in Kohalpur (or nearby Surkhet, based on hotel availability), check-in and relax. Overnight stay in Kohalpur.

Day 02 :

Kohalpur to Manma (Drive: 5–7 Hours | Approx. 248 KM)

After an early breakfast, head towards Kalikot’s district headquarters—Manma. The drive passes through beautiful Saal forests, small towns, and hills. Roads are mostly in good condition with occasional off-road stretches. Reach Manma by late afternoon and enjoy a peaceful evening. Overnight in Manma.

Day 03 :

Manma to Rara Lake via Sija & Nagma (Drive: 7–8 Hours + 45-Minute to 1.5-Hour Walk)

Today’s journey is both scenic and adventurous. The route from Nagma to Rara Lake follows the beautiful Karnali River and passes through lush forests. Vehicles stop at a designated point nearby, after which a short 30–45 minute walk leads you to the lake area. Depending on your preference, you may continue walking for another 30–45 minutes to reach a lodge close to the lake or choose a lakeside camping option. Overnight near or beside Rara Lake.

Day 04 :

Full Day at Rara Lake (Hiking & Sightseeing)

Wake up to the breathtaking beauty of Nepal’s largest and most pristine lake. Explore the calm surroundings or hike up to Murma Top for an incredible bird’s-eye view of the turquoise lake and surrounding mountains. Spend your day relaxing in nature, taking photos, and enjoying a peaceful retreat. Overnight at Rara Lake.

Day 05 :

Rara Lake to Manma (Drive: 7–8 Hours)
