1. Booking and Confirmation

1.1 All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation upon receipt of full or partial payment as specified in the tour package.
1.2 Bookings made online, via phone, or email are considered confirmed only after payment confirmation and receipt of a booking voucher or invoice.
1.3 It is the traveler’s responsibility to provide accurate personal information and travel documents.

2. Payment Terms

2.1 Payments can be made via bank transfer, digital wallets (eSewa, Khalti, IME Pay), or cash as agreed.
2.2 Full payment deadlines vary by package and will be communicated at booking. Failure to complete payment on time may result in cancellation.
2.3 Prices are quoted in NPR and are subject to change due to currency fluctuations, taxes, or supplier rate changes.
2.4 Service fees, taxes, permits, and other charges are included as specified; additional costs incurred by the traveler will be the traveler’s responsibility.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

3.1 Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing (email or message).
3.2 Cancellation fees depend on the timing of the request relative to the tour start date and are detailed in individual package policies.
3.3 Non-refundable deposits may apply.
3.4 Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within a reasonable time after deducting cancellation fees.
3.5 No refunds are given for unused services, missed departures, or early termination of tours by the traveler.

4. Changes and Amendments

4.1 Himalaya Exploration reserves the right to modify itineraries, accommodations, and transportation if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, political events, or natural disasters.
4.2 The traveler will be informed promptly of any major changes.
4.3 Additional costs arising from changes requested by the traveler will be borne by the traveler.

5. Traveler Responsibilities

5.1 Travelers must have valid travel documents including passports, visas, permits, and vaccinations as required for their destination(s).
5.2 It is the traveler’s responsibility to comply with local laws and customs.
5.3 Travelers should ensure they are physically and mentally fit for the activities included in the tour package.
5.4 Himalaya Exploration is not liable for delays, cancellations, or injuries caused by traveler negligence or health conditions.

6. Health and Safety

6.1 Travelers should obtain adequate travel insurance covering medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal liability.
6.2 We recommend consulting your healthcare provider before participating in trekking or adventure activities.
6.3 Himalaya Exploration will provide safety instructions and qualified guides but cannot guarantee against all risks inherent in travel and adventure.

7. Liability

7.1 Himalaya Exploration Tours & Travel acts as an agent between the traveler and suppliers (hotels, transport, guides).
7.2 We are not responsible for loss, injury, damage, accident, delay, or irregularity caused by acts of God, government actions, strikes, war, terrorism, or other events beyond our control.
7.3 Liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 All content on the Himalaya Exploration website and promotional materials are owned or licensed by us.
8.2 No part may be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

9. Privacy

9.1 Your personal data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
9.2 By using our services, you consent to our data collection and processing practices.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

10.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal.
10.2 Any disputes arising will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nepalese courts.
