Kharikhola – Drive to Surkhe (2,600m) – Trek to Phakding (2,610m | 3–4 hrs trek)

After breakfast, take a short local drive (3–4 hours, at your own cost) to Surkhe. Here, meet your local trekking guide and begin the trek towards Phakding. The trail follows small Sherpa villages, suspension bridges, and pine forests, giving the first glimpse of Khumbu’s charm. Overnight stay in Phakding.

Day 03 :

Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m | 6–7 hrs)

Today’s trek takes you through the iconic Dudh Koshi River crossings and past beautiful villages like Monjo and Jorsalle. After entering Sagarmatha National Park, the trail ascends steeply towards Namche Bazaar, the bustling Sherpa capital. Overnight at a guesthouse in Namche.

Day 04 :

Acclimatization in Namche (3,440m) | Optional Hike to Everest View Hotel (3,880m)

Spend the day acclimatizing to the altitude. You may hike to Everest View Hotel for stunning panoramas of Everest, Ama Dablam, and Lhotse. Explore Sherpa museums, bakeries, and monasteries in Namche. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 05 :

Namche to Tengboche (3,860m | 5–6 hrs)

A scenic walk through rhododendron forests and small Sherpa settlements leads you to Tengboche. Visit the famous Tengboche Monastery, the largest in the Khumbu region, with breathtaking views of Ama Dablam, Everest, and Thamserku. Overnight at Tengboche.

Day 06 :

Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410m | 5–6 hrs)

Day 07 :

Day 08 :

Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5,364m) via Gorak Shep (5,164m) – 7–8 hrs

Begin the trek to Gorak Shep, the last settlement before Base Camp. After a short rest, continue towards Everest Base Camp, walking along glacial moraines and rugged terrain. Spend time at the iconic Base Camp before returning to Gorak Shep for overnight.

Day 09 :

Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5,545m) – Trek to Pheriche (4,240m | 7–8 hrs)
